I am now increasingly using web based applications, but why has this happened?

My rule is:
Be passionate, never stop learning and always aim to enjoy it
I find everything else is a lot easier when I do this.

Why should organisations have such polices? … because they have to or its the right thing to do?…NO!

I found this old paperback when I was unpacking the other day…almost 20 years since I first read it, but Iam still enthralled by it.

Ive just had an intense debate with a senior marketing manager who was explaining why he needed so many reports from a new system……no reality at all!

What is it with some people? they can’t be bothered to pay attention when speaking to you….you know the kind of people I mean….

In reading Nassim Nicholas Taleb’s book “The Black Swan: The Impact of the Highly Improbable”, it reinforced something I feel people don’t consider enough. In the book he points out that Black Swans are highly improbable events with 3 characteristics:

A great title and full of interesting and worthwhile ideas……
As per normal there will be things you don’t agree with and some things you already do….but on balance it made me think and added some good tips!
